Fly Quiet OAK is the noise abatement website for Oakland International Airport. After years of managing OAK’s Drupal website, Alpen Lily Web Studio redesigned their new site on the WordPress platform. We kicked off the project by analyzing their existing site’s user engagement. Then, we developed a content strategy to improve upon their visit numbers and the time visitors spent on the website. We knew a large percentage of their visitors were coming from a phone, so we made certain the website looks great and functions well on mobile. We also worked with local photographer Daphne Hougard to replace the tired stock images on their old website with engaging photos of Oakland locals and travelers at Oakland International Airport. The result is an eye-catching website with Oaktown flavor that easier for visitors to navigate.
