This website redesign is for North Tahoe Event Center, a premier lakefront venue on North Lake Tahoe’s shore offering flexible indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, meetings, celebrations, and community gatherings. Our objective was to create a visually immersive, easy-to-navigate site that captures the venue’s stunning lake views while streamlining information access and tour booking. We collaborated closely with the North Tahoe Event Center team to make this vision possible.

Project highlights

• Photography-forward design: We implemented a modern, full-bleed layout that showcases imagery of the venue’s lakeside terrace, beachfront scenery, and elegant event spaces.
• Intuitive navigation: A streamlined menu structure guides visitors to key sections—Events (Weddings, Meetings, Celebrations, Community), About (Contact, FAQ, Photos, Reviews, Blog, Live Webcam), and Spaces—making it effortless to explore offerings.
• Seamless tour booking: Integrated Calendly and prominent calls to action enable users to schedule tours directly, reducing friction in the inquiry process.
• Mobile-first and accessible: Adopting a responsive, mobile-first approach, we ensured optimal performance across devices and met WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards for an inclusive user experience.
• Calendar integration: We pulled a feed from the North Tahoe Public Utility District website to create a streamlined calendar editing experience for North Tahoe Event Center staff.
